Scheduled Tasks
Scheduled Tasks lets the Agent keep working when you're away — running tasks at a set time or on a recurring schedule and delivering results where you want them.
How to Create a Scheduled Task
You have three options:
- Create manually from Toolbox: open the Scheduled Tasks panel from Toolbox and fill in the time, frequency, what to run, and where to send the results.
- Create from the homepage chat box: click the
+button next to the chat input on the homepage and chooseSchedule a Taskto set one up directly from there. - Create through chat: just tell the Computer Agent when you want it to run, what to do, and where to deliver the output. The Agent creates and manages the schedule for you, and later you can ask it to edit, pause, or delete the task in the same conversation.
Note: high-frequency or complex schedules will continue to consume Credits. Enable them based on actual need and review
Settings -> Usageregularly to avoid unintended large-scale consumption.
Three Schedule Modes
- No Repeat (one-off): run once at a specific date and time.
- Recurring: every N minutes / hours / days / weeks / months.
- Cron: write a raw Cron expression for more complex schedules.
Calendar View
Scheduled Tasks has a built-in calendar to make upcoming and past runs easy to see:
- Month / Week / Day / List views.
- Status: Active, Paused, Completed.
- Mini-calendar with quick jumps to today / yesterday / tomorrow.
Where Results Go (Send To)
You can deliver results to:
- Here: the Computer chat panel.
- Telegram Bot / Discord Bot: pushed into a chat or DM.
Channels follow whichever IM Channels you've configured on Computer.
Actions
- Create / edit / pause / resume / delete / retry.
Prerequisite: a Running Computer
Scheduled Tasks depends on MuleRun Computer. If you don't have a Computer yet, you'll be guided to create one first.
You do not need to keep the browser or the Computer page open — as long as Computer is running, scheduled runs fire automatically.
Why Isn't My Scheduled Task Running?
Common reasons:
- Computer is in
Sleepingstate (subscription expired or Computer deleted). - The task is Paused.
- Insufficient Credits.
- The schedule's time zone doesn't match what you expected.
Check the task's status in the Scheduled Tasks list first, then Settings -> Usage to see whether the failure was due to Credits running out.
